Project Manager for Large Scale Plant Engineering Projects

HELIOVIS AG is a technology company based in Wiener Neudorf, Austria. Our core business is the development, production and international marketing of solar thermal power plants. Our power plants are based on a highly innovative, pneumatic sunlight concentrator (HELIOtube®), which generates emission-free process heat for industrial applications at competitive and stable prices. The concentrator is manufactured in our own production facility in the industrial centre of Wiener Neudorf.


The company is growing rapidly due to the high demand for renewable energy solutions. As a result, we are looking for a Project Manager for large scale plant engineering projects.

Your main tasks will be:

  • Independent and responsible project management in international plant engineering
  • Interdisciplinary coordination of all project stakeholders
  • Integration of engineering, production, purchasing and logistics
  • Solicitation and evaluation of bids, contract award negotiations, contract reviews and bid negotiations
  • Maintaining relationships with customers, project partners, subcontractors and local authorities, as well as progress tracking and reporting
  • Quality assurance throughout all project phases
  • Quality-assured documentation of the project results
  • Project controlling and preparation of accounting documents

Ideally, you the following profile and experience:

  • Completed academic technical education (university of applied sciences / university) with a focus on mechanical and plant engineering, industrial engineering or equivalent
  • Several years of professional experience as a project manager in industrial plant engineering
  • Proficiency in appropriate project management methodologies, certification is a strong plus
  • Structured and independent working style
  • High level of responsibility and business acumen
  • Good communication skills and assertiveness
  • Willingness for occasional international business trips (ca. 20%)
  • Cross-cultural competence
  • Business fluent in German and English
  • Good knowledge of MS-Office 365 (prim. PowerPoint, Excel, Word, MS Teams)

The gross annual salary for this position starts at €80,000 (full-time with flexible working hours) The
actual salary depends on your level of experience and may be significantly higher.
